My Approach to Readings: A Conversation with the Cards

No two readers engage with the tarot in quite the same way. If you sat with 100 intuitive guides, you’d witness 100 unique relationships with the cards—each one shaped by lived experience, energetic sensitivity, and personal ritual.

For me, tarot is not a script or a static tool. It’s a dynamic language—alive, responsive, and deeply relational. My approach isn't about following strict spreads or memorizing meanings; it's about entering into dialogue. With the cards, with my guides, and with you.

Over the past decade, I’ve cultivated a rhythm with the tarot that feels less like a performance and more like communion. Though I started, as many do, with traditional layouts and carefully cut piles, my process has evolved. I now allow the cards to choose themselves—what I call “jumpers.” These are the cards that fly from the deck during shuffling, landing precisely where they need to. Over time, I learned to trust them implicitly.

Some decks arrive like old friends. Others come in like tricksters or healers. Each has a distinct personality—serious, soft, humorous, or wise—and I respect them as collaborators. I don’t impose rigid expectations on the cards, nor do I interpret them in isolation. They work in concert with my clairvoyant and clairaudient gifts, offering confirmation, insight, and nuance that words alone can't express.

Before each session, I ground my energy and cleanse the deck with crystals, clearing any residual imprints. I don’t read reversals in the traditional sense—there’s already so much dimensionality in the way the messages come through. If a card lands upside down, I consider the full context, the imagery, and the whispers I receive from spirit to guide interpretation.

Even if a question is asked multiple times, the same cards often reappear. This pattern isn’t coincidence—it’s energetic alignment. The repetition offers clarity, validation, and a deeper message waiting to unfold.

When you book a reading with me, you’re not receiving something pre-packaged. You’re entering an intuitive space that honors your story, your energy, and what wants to rise to the surface in that moment. The tarot is one of the tools I use to hold that space with care, honesty, and reverence.

Until then, may you have love, light, and a hint of wickedness.
